What is a Homeowners Association?

A homeowners association (HOA) is non-profit organization made up of the people in a residential community.  The association is generally run by an elected board of directors who volunteer to serve the community.

The HOA’s primary purpose is to make and enforce rules concerning the operation of the community and to make sure it is properly administered.

HOAs strive to keep property values high by maintaining the community’s aesthetic.

What is a management company?

A community association management company, or HOA management company, is contracted by the board to fulfill duties they cannot carry out. Generally, these companies administer the association’s business affairs and support maintenance, accounting, and other community efforts. The management company takes direction from and reports to the board and doesn’t make any major decisions for the community.

Within which city limits are we located?

Our neighborhood is within the city limits of Denton and we use Denton city services. Only our mail comes from the Argyle post office.

When is the pool open?

The pool is generally open from May to October.  Specific dates and times will be posted as we get closer to the season.
